The Professional Team at the Office of Debra R. Schill, CPA, brings the professional service you deserve, with that personal, “small town” flare you’ll enjoy. Although each member is especially trained for the daily work they perform, everyone is cross-trained to ensure that we exceed your expectations of dealing with our company.

Each member of our team is trained to use the latest technology to service clients nationwide in individual and business tax services, as well as in medical billing services -- and we always provide personal and confidential assistance.

Keeping up with current tax, financial and accounting laws, as well as staying compliant in the medical billing area requires that each member of the staff attend regular continuing education classes for their own areas of expertise.

Debra Schill, CPA

As the owner of the Office of Debra R. Schill, CPA, Debra meets with clients daily to discuss business, tax and financial issues. In addition to preparing hundreds of tax returns annually, Debra oversees the activities of a growing staff, as well as the marketing and technical efforts of the firm. Debra attended Indiana University and has been a CPA since 1993. She brings approximately 25 years experience in tax preparation, accounting, and banking to her clients.

Prior to starting the Office of Debra R. Schill, CPA in 1994, Debra enjoyed employment at several banks and CPA firms around Indiana. Debra resides near Crothersville with her family. Her husband, David, is a teacher and administrator at Crothersville Junior/Senior High School. David also serves in various ministry related capacities for area churches and the local ministerial association. David and Debra have two children, Adam and Leah, both of whom are still at home and in school. Rhonda Blandford, CPA

Rhonda resides near Seymour, IN with her husband Tim and daughters, Jessica and Miranda. Rhonda attended Indiana University and received her CPA certification in 2002. Rhonda prepares hundreds of tax returns annually and oversees the daily activities of the accounting and technology departments. Rhonda joined the Office of Debra Schill, CPA in 2001. Her prior work experience includes approximately 17 years working in accounting departments for various manufacturing companies and retail accounting firms.

 

ACCOUNTING TEAM

Taleen Baker and Lisa Mahan perform the accounting, bookkeeping and payroll functions for many business clients every month. Their regular clients have come to appreciate and expect a timely and professional response every time. Both Taleen and Lisa have been with our company for many years and their steadfastness offers a consistent routine in what might otherwise be a chaotic maze of forms and deadlines.

AMBULANCE & MEDICAL BILLING TEAM

Leah Bowen and Valerie Rider form the billing team. Both Leah and Valerie have classroom educations in medical assistant/coding programs and bring years of experience working with insurance companies and patients to process claims. Their courteous phone support is appreciated by patients and medical professionals alike. Their attention to detail and persistent efforts to follow-up on every claim ensures that nothing goes unfinished. Client collection rates soar as we monitor pending claims daily and work with each patient individually.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Throughout the year, our staffing needs vary, but you’ll always find competent and professional members ready to fill in wherever they are needed and return to serve year after year. Sally Needler, Elvira Black, Erika Lee and Beth Robison form the current team for administrative support. Processing tax returns for delivery, reception duties, mounds of statements and other routine mail, assisting with marketing projects – these are just some of the countless tasks we ask of these members – and they always do it with a smile.
